Accessory of the week Holiday Special!
For thanksgiving I thought that I'd do something cute/funny/really informative. Every year when everyone comes over, people think that its alright to slap on the dreaded (gulp!) HOLIDAY SWEATER! Don't be a victim this Holiday season! Stay clear of extremely cheesy knitted Christmas/thanksgiving sweaters! Thank you and that's all for this public announcement!
And here we go again...
As I am Elbow deep in clorox mopping the floors that people are just gonna walk all over tommorow I think to myself..."how can I link this to fashion!?". Im asuming this is not what everyone thinks of, but I pride myself on being a strange and vibrant indivisual. So after making sure all chemcials were off my skin, I raced to my laptop to google how fashion can possibly be tied into Cleaning. Folks all I got was Voldka-Infused Cleanliness, and $600 dollar shoe cleaning (My pets I can not afford any of this!). But I did run across something better! Turning Fashion editorials into Cartoon works again. I found it on another blog! And its real London street with cool pop art pieces! Look at more and find out more from this blog!

Gobble Gobble Gucci
I know the titles corny, but hey it is what it is. I hope everyone had a good weekend I did. And during the weekend I was reading Vogue (as per usual) and I came across the Gucci ad for 2010 spring. and I love it! The colors the models (especially the models I'm trying to figure out who the male model was he was looking quite fantastic). It kind of reminded me of that scene in the Great Gatsby where Gatsby is in the pool thinking about Daisy (although right after he gets brutally shot). Its glitz its glam it GORGEOUS! all thumbs up Gucci!

"You talkin me??"
Model Behavior: Oluchi Onweagba
This weeks model behavior goes to Oluchi Onweagba; beautiful Nigerian supermodel. Onweagba grew up in the suburbs of Lagos, Nigeria with her two brothers and sisters. She is the daughter of a civil servant father and mother who was a nurse. She has graced the pages of Sports Illustrated Swim suit edition, Italian Vouge and has strutted her stuff on the Victoria Secrets fashion shows. I love her look! She is super GORGEOUS!

Daul Kim: Gone to soon
My prayers go out for the family and friends of 20 year old supermodel Daul Kim who died today in her apartment in Paris. She was beautiful inside and out. To me it doesn't matter how she died, it matters how we remember her. R.I.P

And the winner is...
I don't know about you but me and my mom was sitting on the edge of our leather couch biting out nails as Tyra Banks blinked slowly about to announce who was about to be America's Next top Model for cycle 13. It was between Laura sweet country girl from a small town in Kentucky. And Nicole an awkward artist from Colorado. Although I think Laura was ADORABLE (i mean it she was just as cute as a piglet in a towel(lol)) but i knew Nicole was going to win. She is GORGEOUS; her bone structure is amazing and she has the perfect look to just hop on the runway. I am a little sad that It's all over but you know Tyra, she'll be back and fiercer than ever.

Gimme a sec to my face on!
I have a friend who WILL NOT go out of the house with out her make up. Me I slap on some eyeliner and some funky eye shadow and I'm out the door. my friend is a victim of Make-up over kill, I am a victim of Make-up Underkill. In religion i just learned about Buddhism (hang with me I'm taking this somewhere). And in Buddhism they are real key on the "Mid-Way", basically the moderation. What I'm saying is that make up should be in moderation (see I told you I was going somewhere with this!). I think its possible for people to look amazing and natural with natural products! Use the link I'm going to put up and go on youtube. The best make up tutorials are there and they can make you look AH-MAZING!

Fashion Icon: Lady Gaga
In honor of Her new (freaky but still really chic) song and video Bad Romance. Lady Gaga had to be my fist Fashion Icon For the month of November.I am indeed gaga for Gaga. She is so strange that its impossible for me not like her! She designs most of her out of this worlc clothing; and has become and insparation for designers such as Steven McQueen and even Micheal Kors. And on top of all of this her music makes you dance! Personally I think she's fierce and not afraid to look completely and utterly crazy. I respect that. I love it!
Let's Get Some Shoes!
SHOES SHOES SHOES SHOES SHOES SHOES! I LOVE ME SOME SHOES!!!! From slippers to flats to pointed toes, to boots. I LOVE THEM ALL! My rule when it comes to shoes heels is this....(kiddies don't try this at home) If it doesn't look like I'm defying gravity, and all rules of physics, they MUST not be HIGH ENOUGH! As you can guess by now I've bought some pretty CRAZZZZY shoes. But I'm not real crazy with it. For instance, you will not see me squeeze into a pair of Steven McQueen's! You will see me jam my feet into a pair of beautiful Christian Dior Booties (or ankle boots) or some Christian Louboutin. Usually I would give you a large lists of shoes that I would kill to own, or even wear for a night. But since I'm in 4th period British Literature I'm Just gonna refer you to a website that has all of this already made!
And if you're tight for money don't look at this sight. It will just make you want to go shopping!
Good Luck! http://shoes.about.com/od/designersmanufacturers/Designers_and_Brands.htm

Fashion 2010 Spring- My tops my Bottoms
My God did I love what Donatella Versace did for this Spring collection. From the models to the clothes, to the makeup. It was fun, chic, hip, edgy..basically anything you want in a spring collection. The different textures paired with clunky edgy shoes and well matched handmade bags and clutches. This is a complete and total win.
Dolce and Gabbana:
For this seasons collection it really went back to classics with a focus on nicely tailored undergarments on top of the clothes. Lots of lace (which is a plus for me its gorgeous) and beautiful lines. In addition the patterns were lovely and tastefully added. A thumbs up from me.
Giorgio Armani:
The blues and purples and reds and greens. It was perfect color pallete paired with fantastic elegant designes that screamed classy Italia. I dare say, I was quite smitten!
Valentino:
Love the ruffles and the shoes (my personal fetish) but I really wanted to see more color. The show itself was elegant and well put together. The evening dresses were completely flawless. The entire collection as a whole didn't WOW me but it was still great.
This is my first real post so its impossible for you guys to know alot about me, but one of my fav designers is Marc Jacobs. I LOVE THIS MAN! This collection was all about his backround story which i love. The textures and the colors were very nice. But the fist time you see the collection ur kinda like wtf, but watch it again, it starts to grow on ya
Dsquared2
Chanel
Elegant and sophisticated what else could you possibly say about Chanel's design.
This is what I liked! let me know what you liked if you agree or not!
