controversial photo shoot for Steven Meisel 'Make Love, Not War', published in Vogue Italy's September 2007 magazine.

This look is my vintage/ preppy girl look. This is polished and adorably vintage. You can't go wrong with pink, light colors or pastel. Skirts are totally the game maker in this look. A cute airy thin material top is key. And skin tone shoes wrap up the dainty 1940s type look.

I can see you guys scratching your heads like. Hmmm why Janis Joplin, that a little bit odd. Just roll with me, there's no reason to be a Cry Baby.Floral is HUGE this year. I channeled Janis Joplin for this because I needed someone who understood the true meaning of flower power. Pick up floral dress or skirt and match it with brown/tan/tope ankle boots. Add some glasses and head to the beach!

Spring Essentials: The Maxi Skirt

Although there is still snow on the ground, it's always good to be prepared. So for the next couple weeks I will be giving some articles of clothing and at the end of all this I'll put some outfits together.

The Maxi skirt, to me is a very bohemian chic article of clothing that can be dressed up or dressed down. Maxi skirts are frequently seen on the runway. So why not add it to your wardrobe?

Dress it up: Add accessories, a wide belt, and a cute silk or lace blouse.

Dress it down: throw on some flip flops and an old band T-shirt with one shoulder out. Great Boardwalk/beach look!

It would be an understatement if i were to say that Anne Hathaway has come a long way since the Princess Diaries. She is now a successful actress, future Oscar host, and most importantly a total fashion plate. In these last few years, she has shocked the entire fashion world with her ornate style, and daring choices on the red carpet. All I have to say is "keep doing what you doing Anne! And good luck at the Oscars!'

Couture Spring 2011: Top Pick

Most fashion lovers can agree Couture Collections are the back bone or the art form of fashion. And spring (being my favorite season) spells couture to me! Here are the two ones that I reviewed. Christian Dior

Oh John Galliano. How much more praise can I possible give this man for this beautiful, elegant, wispy couture collection. Dior has always been on of my favorites when couture is involved; this collection reminded me why. This collection was an ode to the 50s but with a wee bit more flare. The strong,but not over powering colors, matched with elbow high gloves, amazing sillouttes, spectacular feather hats, and amazing bubble like gowns. Please I beg you, go see the entire collection. You will fall head over heals!

Armani Prive

One of the many things I love about Armani is its ability to stay innovative but still stay true to its roots. This Armani Prive Haute Couture collection stays true to Armani's usually exciting color pallet(royal blues, maroon,etc) ; but it amps up the volume with an almost 3-D, high shimmer, total glam material, and impeccable elegant styling.

I ain't no Hunter, but I like the boots

I have to admit guys...my UGG phase is quite over. UGGs have been dominating the trend world for far to long. So saying that I skipped out on UGGs to get a pair of navy blue Hunter Boots. Here are my top three reasons why you need to drop UGGS (even though the spring colors are adorable) and pick up a pair of Hunters.

1. Its practical and fashionable. (they look like riding boots and they are rain resistant)

2. It's not a one season boot (They are are good winter book and a spring boot. (you can probably say that about UGGs but thats one of my pet peeves (Uggs in the spring/summer)))

3. BE A TREND SETTER IN YOUR TOWN! Near me everyone iss obsessed with Uggs. If Hunters get more air time people are going to be like "Oh something new!" I just feel like we are in a fashion rut with Uggs. idk maybe it's just a Jersey thing.

Prom 2010: Dresses

The most important element of prom is of course the dress! Girls shop months in advance to find a dress that makes them look amazing for the big nite. I'm going to go over various Styles and Trends and even put some ideas in. Here we go....

Short Dresses:


Short dresses can be used for Junior Prom. Like this cute mini from Jovani. Most girls are really focused on getting the beautiful long dress. Why not be a individual? Why not step out? Why not go to prom in a gorgeous classy short dress?

One Shoulder Dresses:

This is one of most popular looks not just for prom, but for the red carpet as well as the runway. One shoulder is elegant, sophisticate, but still extremely sexy! Its more interesting than the same old spaghetti straps or even strap less. The only tricky thing is accessorising properly...but stay tuned for that :).

Strapless Dresses:

Strapless dress is a classic dress look. The key to strapless dresses is the right fit. I can not stress this enough. When you buy a strapless Dress you must have a great strapless bra that holds everything up. If not you will be doing the dress lift dance all night.

Mermaid Dresses:

This look is far to beautiful for people not try. Tight around the bodice then long and flowing around the lower leg. It's a beautiful look. Mermaid dresses can come with straps, strapless and one shoulder. One of the best part of mermaid dresses are the accessories that you can match it up with, but more on that later.

Pattern Dresses:

This look is very popular this season. Patterns with colors; weather it be flowers, ivy, or even animal print you will see someone at your prom in this look. This look is all about the dress and not so much about the accessories. So don't go to crazy with accessories or hair, just let the dress speak for itself.

I was breezing by my favorite magazines websites and I came upon Harper's Bazaar. And as I looked through it my eye caught this article called Jersey Shore Charm school. It shows Snookie Jwoww and Sammi going through charm school. Now I'm from New Jersey and I've met the situation, and I've been to basically all the places the Jersey Shore cast has been, so I have a deep understanding for what Harper's Bazaar is dealing with. No matter how you feel about the show you can't help but love this editorial! And the transformations are nothing short of Shocking!
