Milan Fashion Week Mens: Emperio Armani F/W 2010

  • OMG they came out with snow gear on and snowboards. Now that's an entrance
  • The color of the structure on the runway was the color the models would come out in
  • loved the neon colors segment
  • switched it up to egg shell ivory suits
  • so well polished and put together with fab sunglasses.
  • love blue pea coat
  • Ski pants (skins in style mah friends)

So the finale was all the models walking out in their briefs (drooollll) for the Reebok EA7 campaign. I was not complaining...AT ALL! This had to be on of my favorite shows. The clothes were impeccable and the models looked great. It felt like it was all well thought out.

hi there all! Today's article is another instalment to my "SELF EXPRESSION" state of mind. I think that fashion is another way to be a fascinating fun funky person! and the designer who i think REALLY embraces is this is Mizz. Bestsy Johnson. Bestsy Johnson is a fashion designer best known for her feminine and whimsical designs. Many people might find her over the top, and lets be honest some times she is. But when she comes out on the runway and does a Cartwheel into a split! you can help but smile and think, wow what a cool lady! And that is fashionable!

Haiti Needs Us

I know this has nothing to do with fashion. But I Feel so deeply for all those in Haiti. Over 100,000 people have died in this terrible earthquake (7.0). I have sent a donation by using YELE HAITI, a long running charity by platinum artist (and the very stylish) Wyclef Jean. please txt YELE to 501501. Think of all those people without food, water, and most importantly shelter. Please do whatever you can. No PLEASE give.

Que Dieu bénisse Haïti

Hey mama! Welcome to the 60s!

So alot of designers usually get inspired by fashion from back in the day. I.E. the 80s and the 40s are coming back (Helllooo shoulda pads!). Some one once asked me, if you could bring something or an era back, what would you choose. So i deff had to pick the 60s. First off, I am a hippie at heart, secondly the clothes are so fun and psychedelic. And lastly the 60s was a time of individuality and self expression. It was a time period of rapid social change and rapid change of views. And I think fashion goes hand in hand with a certain amount of change. Fashion statements (or lack of fashion statements) can show so much about a person or their view on life. And this really happened during the 6os.

Model Behavior: Arthur Sales

I think I need to move to Brazil. One look at Arthur Sales, and you'd want to move to warmer weather too! He is easily the guy that every woman dreams of (I'm really take one look at that body). He is a fantastic model and has recently tore up the Dsquared Runway! And to top it off, he's the reason for my soon to be planned 2010 trip to Brazil!

The Brilliance of LaChapelle

I am by no means qualified to tell anybody what good photography is. I mean lets be real, A good picture to me is something that looks nice or cool (or one taken for facebook or twitter!). But somethings just.. POP! to me. And the pictures that POP! to me are David LaChapelle's photogr- Works of art. I don't know David LaChapelle personally, but i wish I did; the conversation would probably be wild! My first question would probably be like "What the hell goes though your head!". He's like the mad scientist of photography! Alot of his pictures are very conterversal (aka some celebrities posing as Jesus) and frighteningly weird, but they are always so fashionable. He is the best editorial photographer ever. I love it. He has taken zillions of pictures for celebrities, Designers, and famous companies. Check his website out! I guarantee you will be blowwwwn away!
